Norma Moe Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Moles Farewell Tributes & Crematory – Bayview Chapel on Aug. 18, 2023.
Norma Lee Moe (Lambson), aged 89, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2023. Norma was born on January 22, 1934, in Bellingham, Washington, to Mary and Everett Lambson.
Norma married Robert Moe in August of 1954, sharing a life of companionship and love. Known for her kind and gracious disposition, Norma exemplified strength, humility, and care in all aspects of her life. Together with Robert, she maintained a consistent presence in her community, always ready to lend a helping hand.
Norma's family held a special place in her heart. She enjoyed gathering them for backyard BBQs, hosting Thanksgiving meals in her dining room, and creating her renowned "grandma and grandpa cookies" that were cherished by all. She graduated from Bellingham High School and found her calling as an accordion teacher, a passion she pursued diligently. She also dedicated her time to teaching English lessons.
Norma is survived by her son Paul Moe, son-in-law Karl Ritter, as well as her grandchildren Paris, Trista, Bri, and Jameson. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren Adrianna, Luciano, and Ellie. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Moe and her daughter Diane Ritter.
Norma's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her enduring kindness, nurturing nature, and unwavering commitment to family and community will be remembered fondly.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I took accordion lessons for yrs from Mrs Moe (probably the student to take the longest to get through Palmer Hughes book 1). She was one of the most influential people in my early years. She supported me through high school, attending my orchestra concerts and coming to school functions playing duets at Octoberfests and Christmas festivals. I remember going to see Gallirini in Seattle with her, Diane, and her husband Robert.
