Age 98 passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at The Arc at Dwight, IL. Norma was born in Chicago, IL to the late Arthur and Sonja (nee Anderson) VanGameron. Beloved wife of the late Ray Owak and her second husband the late Robert Madderom; loving mother of the late Marsha Hawley, Laurel McKeown, and Robert (Laura) Owak; cherished grandmother of Jackie Cannarella, Denise Roberts, Jay McKeown, Darren McKeown, Michael McKeown, Jill Meador, Cory Owak, Maddie Groenwold, Kristin Ferm, Emilee Dee, and Tyler Trella; proud great grandmother of many; dear sister of the late Arthur (late Doris) VanGameron and the late Pauline (late Cliff) Yonker; loved aunt, great aunt, and cousin of many. Norma was retired from Chicago Christian High School, Palos Heights, IL. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 9:00 am until the time of Funeral Service at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, Oak Lawn, IL.
