She was born on April 1, 1928, in Hollis, Oklahoma, to Elmer and Girtha Mae Vaughan and was raised in Silverton, Texas. Norma married her husband Homer Ragland on March 25th, 1950. They had one daughter, Janice Ragland.A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Norma's greatest joy was her family. Norma lived her life with a deep and abiding faith in the Lord. She loved her family wholeheartedly and had a gift for making everyone she met feel welcome. She never met a stranger she didn't like, and her love for others shone brightly through her words and actions.
Norma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Homer Ragland, her siblings Denzel Vaughan, Troy "Bud" Vaughan, and Lola Smalts, and her adopted son, Sam Moore.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice Ragland and adopted daughter Sharie Stephens; her grandchildren, Ryker Cabler, Cancy Cabler, Clay Moore, Brett Moore, and Jake Moore; and her great-grandchildren, Gage Baker and Zaylee Cabler.
Norma's legacy of faith, kindness, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
