Mrs. Norma Ricker of Sparrow Bush, NY died Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Milford Senior Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was 94. She was born February 28, 1928 in Newark, NJ the daughter of the late Pasquale Annunziata and the late Mary Annunziata. Norma was happily married to her husband Floyd Ricker, Jr. for 61 years before his passing on April 18, 2009. She was a past member of the First Assembly of God Church in Hamburg, NJ. A family statement read: She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who found her joy creating wonderful, Italian meals for her family over the years. She enjoyed many happy times with family on RV vacations to Hershey, PA, Lake George, NY, and Rutland, VT.
Surviving are:
Her 5 children Wayne Ricker and his wife Linda of Williamsburg, VA, Glenn Ricker and his wife Wilma of Gordonville, PA, Ronald Ricker and his companion Barbara Coffaro of Crimora, VA, Karen Thiel and her husband William of Dingmans Ferry, PA, and Donna Ricker of Sparrow Bush, NY, her 7 beloved grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.Norma is predeceased by her loving siblings; Michael Annunziata, Lillian Cataldo and Marion Pirone.
Friends and family are invited to visit the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc., 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY 12771 on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 12:00 pm. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations in Norma's name may be made to the Alzheimer´s Assoc., Orange/Sullivan Reg. Office, 384 Crystal Run Road, Suite 102, Middletown, NY 10941. Funeral arrangements are by the GRAY-PARKER FUNERAL HOME, 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis. 845-856-5191.
