Norma was born July 10, 1932 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Charles and Ruth Lynn. She met and married her husband Joe and had three children, Pamela, Tony and Sandy.
Norma spent her early years working for the telephone company, Dr. Coyner's office and then as a receptionist for Central State University Infirmary until retiring.
Norma and Joe loved traveling and spent their retirement years traveling in their RV. They also loved spending time at their mountain cabin in Eagles Nest, New Mexico where they lived for 8 years. After returning to the Guthrie area they renovated and sold homes until Joe's illness. After his passing, Norma remained in Guthrie until 2018 when she then moved to Edmond.
Norma was a passionate artist. She loved going to art shows throughout Oklahoma and New Mexico. Doll making was also a passion. In her later years, game playing became a pastime and loved going to the casinos.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joe, her daughter Sandy and her
son Tony.
She leaves behind her daughter Pamela Allbaugh and husband Brent, grandson James Smith, daughter-in-law Lorie Rieker, grandson TJ Rieker and wife Kaci, granddaughter Danielle Chambers and husband Alex, granddaughter Destiney Welborn and husband Gareth, granddaughter Brittany Rieker and husband Austin, and six great grand children Kayden, Addison, Lillie, Wyatt, Bentlee and Clara.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 on April 11th at the Community Funeral Home,
1624 N. Pine Street in Guthrie.
