Carole Jeanette Boyett passed away September 17, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Her kindness, dedication to family and community and amazing strength, intelligence and adaptability will be missed. Carole Martin was born on April 3, 1947, in San Antonio, Texas. Carole grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Carole graduated from Grant High School and studied Nursing at Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas for two years before falling in love and marrying Charles Dickson, Jr. They raised two sons in Oklahoma City where she began a career in mortgage servicing and ultimately rose to the position of Vice-President of Midland Mortgage.

Carole became a widow in 2000 and was blessed to find love again and married George Boyett and expanded her family with his son and daughter and their families. They married in 2003 and relocated to Guthrie, Oklahoma. Carole retired and became the owner of Treasures and Books in downtown Guthrie. Carole volunteered for Meals on Wheels, the Guthrie Public Library and was very active in her local community promoting the Guthrie Animal Shelter, local small businesses and participated in organizing Guthrie's Territorial Christmas Celebrations.

Carole is survived by her loving husband George Boyett, her sister Maxine Rogers, her two brothers, David (Kim) and Mike Martin, her sons Charles (Jenny) Dickson, Martin (Laurel) Dickson, Ken (Kristin) Boyett, Shelley (Gary) Caldwell, 12 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren, two of which graciously entered this world just hours before Carole's passing.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the above causes Carole believed helped her local community.
