Victoria Elaine McLaurin

Victoria Elaine McLaurin "Vickie" was born on August 9th, 1952, at Benedictine Heights Hospital in Guthrie, OK to Oscar McLaurin and Trucilla Dulan-McLaurin Wilson.
Vickie attended Page elementary, Favor High School and graduated from Guthrie High School in 1970. She attended Oklahoma State University (OSU) and after graduation in 1973 she started her lifelong career with the university in Stillwater, OK until she retired in 2018.
Vickie accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Guthrie, OK. She was preceded in death by her father Oscar McLaurin, mother Trucilla Dulan-McLaurin Wilson, sister Maretta Garrett, brothers: Infant McLaurin and Douglas McLaurin.
Vickie loved to watch movies and spend time with family. She was a wonderful baker. Her holiday baking was some of the best you could ever eat! If you had never had her poppyseed bread, pound cake or her homemade candies, words cannot describe what you have missed!
She was an avid animal lover. Her pets were her children. The first pets were two cats, Put-Put and Benny. Next, she got her first dog Champ, then came Jag, Riley and Rosha. Now Alley and Pixie are left to mourn her loss. All of her dogs were the breed, Weimaraner.
Victoria leaves to cherish her memory, her brother Scottie David McLaurin (Minnie Hayes) of Guthrie, OK and a host of family: aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
