Michael David Silvers

Michael David Silvers, 66, of Guthrie, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 9:14 P.M. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born October 9, 1959 in Guthrie to Jerold and Carolyn (McNeil) Silvers.

Michael graduated in 1977 from Guthrie High School. He and Terrie Christine Ferris met in 7th grade and were inseparable ever since. They were married on November 2, 1979 and had two daughters, Shylia and Kristie. Michael has lived in Guthrie his whole life and worked for Highland Dairy for 20+ years. He retired from Highland Dairy and spent his days devoted to taking care of his wife and his mother.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Jerold 'Jerry' Silvers and his brother, Gary Silvers.

He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Silvers; wife, Terrie Silvers; daughter, Shylia and husband, Ashley Trout of Benbrook Texas; and daughter, Kristie Scheihing of Guthrie.

Michael was also the proud pawpaw to his 8 grandchildren, Ellagrace and Ayden Trout of Benbrook Texas, Timber and husband, Adam, Tucker, Cora, Lena, Trason and Adeline Scheihing all of Guthrie. He also has 2 great-grandchildren, Harrison and Daisy of Guthrie.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Summit View Cemetery with Pastor Charley Ward officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, 220 North 1st Street, Guthrie, Oklahoma 73044.

Visitation will be held Monday, 2:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.
