Norma Gail Valentin, age 77, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Hendersonville Hospital after an extended illness.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Casey B. and Ruth (Amons) Shrum.
She is survived by her loving son, Rico and grand dog, Regalito, bonus son Erik Valentin, sister Judy Leonard and brother Jerry Shrum, and nephew Jeff Leonard.
She was born in Hendersonville, TN and retired from the State of Tennessee Dept of Revenue/Safety after 42 years of dedicated service.
Christmas was her favorite holiday, that she always enjoyed celebrating, spreading joy and kindness throughout the season. She loved entertaining and making her family and friends feel special during this season of love with her baking and gifting. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Gatlinburg and visiting her second family in Florida.
Pastor Eric Downs will be officiating the service. Visitation will be held at the Hendersonville Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; with funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow at the Hendersonville Memorial Gardens.
