Norma B Wetzel, 75, of Camby passed away on Saturday August 3, 2024 at her home with loved ones by her side. She was born June 18, 1949 in Exeter, Virginia to her parents, Harvey & Edith Gibson. She was a resident of Camby most of her life.
Norma is survived by her three sons Jade Wetzel, Jimmy (Jamie) Wetzel, and Billie (Tammy) Wetzel; her 14 grandchildren: Maria, Liz (Josh), Sara (Devin), Chelsie (Steven), Chad (A'mya), Dom, Brayden, Angel, Alicia, Bobby (Chelsea), Logan and Kodi; her daughter in law Shanah Wetzel; son in law Chris McLain, brothers: Jim and Ron Gibson. Norma is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Johnnie Alan Wetzel, her son Johnny Wetzel, her daughter Regina Wetzel, her grandson Billy Wetzel, her sisters Peggy & Marie, and her fiancé of 10 years Roland Van Arsdale.
Norma was employed at Allison’s Payment System most of her life, later became employed at St. Francis of Mooresville doing house keeping. Norma had worked her whole life, and really enjoyed all the time with her family, children, grandchildren & especially her great grandchildren. Norma loved to ride motorcycles and really enjoyed taking many trips a year to Daytona Beach. Norma also was a member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed many evenings there with friends. Norma will be missed dearly.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 4pm to 7pm at Flanner Buchanan - Decatur Township. Funeral services will be at 7pm August 8, 2024 at Flanner Buchanan as well. Burial will take place at West Ridge Park Cemetery.
