Norman Thomas Brown, age 76, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025. Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Norman lived a full and spirited life defined by curiosity, humor, and love.
He spent his career in the flexible packaging industry, where his sharp mind and problem-solving nature made him an exceptional plant manager and technical engineer. Norman loved figuring out how things worked-often taking them apart just to put them back together even better.
Outside of work, Norman found joy in playing the guitar, golfing with friends, driving fast just for the thrill of it, watching The History Channel, pontificating about space, and cheering on Alabama football. Above all else, he cherished his sweetheart, Patsy, with whom he shared a deep and enduring love.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Martha Brown, and his beloved wife, Patsy. He is survived by his daughter, Courtney (Kenny); his brothers, Jack (Gail) and Mark (Michelle); and his sister, Monecia, who was married to the late Charlie. Norman's family and friends will remember him for his quick wit, inventive spirit, and the quiet way he made everything-and everyone-around him better.
In keeping with his wishes, no formal services will be held. His loved ones take comfort in knowing he is reunited with Patsy and that his memory will live on in every song, smile, and story he left behind.
Arrangements have been entrusted to J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel.
