Norman J. "Joe" Bruen, Jr., 83 of Londonderry, NH died April 16, 2025 at his home. Joe was born in Medford, MA on March 22, 1942, the son of the late Norman J. Bruen, Sr. and Winifred (Malloy) Bruen.
Joe was a graduate of Medford High School and served in the US Navy aboard the USS Tulare during the Vietnam War. Following his service in the Navy, Joe worked for the Navy Shipyard in Boston and later worked for the Federal Aviation Administration until his retirement. Following his retirement, from the FFA, he established the Joe Bruen Welding business, which he operated until his death.
Joe is survived by his wife of 55 years, Christine Lynch Bruen of Londonderry, NH, a sister Katheleen, brother Laurence and several nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, graveside services with military honors will be held on Friday April 25, 2025, at 1:30pm in the Pillsbury Cemetery, Hovey Rd., Londonderry. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry is assisting the family with arrangements. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
