Richard Hannon Obituary

Published by Legacy on Aug. 30, 2025.
Richard C. Hannon, 81, of Londonderry, NH, died Sunday, August 24, 2025, in VA Medical Center, Manchester, NH. He was born on January 21, 1944 in Haverhill, MA, a son of Thomas and Helen (Bryson) Hannon.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Patience (Ward) Hannon; daughter, Tracey Hannon; his daughter-in-law, Erin Milliken; and three grandchildren who brought him so much joy, Brady Owen and Aiden Hannon. He is also remembered with love by many extended family and friends. He is reunited in heaven with his beloved son, Shaun Hannon.

He had a true love for the outdoors and could often be found birdwatching or simply soaking in the beauty of nature. With camcorder in hand, Dick captured countless family memories, from his grandchildren to his nieces and nephews, always wanting to hold onto the moments that mattered most. His humor was unmatched, filling our lives with laughter, jokes and joy. He was not only a husband, father and grandfather, but a wonderful friend to many, and his absence leaves a hole that cannot be filled.

His final resting place will be at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy., Boscawen, NH at where a private burial will be held at a later date.
