Norman L. Colt, age 87, of Harborcreek, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025. He was born in Brocton, NY on February 10, 1938, son of the late Floyd and Mary Colt.
Norm was employed as an assembler at General Electric Co. He was a member of the East Erie Moose Club, American Legion Carl Neff Post 571, North East Senior Center and the Eastside YMCA. Norm was gifted in woodworking, enjoyed hunting and was a NASCAR fan.
Norm is survived by one son, Scott Colt (Sue); one daughter, Melissa VanCise (Jim); five grandchildren, Kayleigh VanCise (Alan), Taylor VanCise, Anthony Rodrigues (Samantha), Joseph Walter and Michael Walter (Marcus); four great-grandchildren, Ryker and Jameson Bloomer, Isaiah Rodrigues and Adrianna Walter; a dear family friend, Darlene Greene and family; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Colt; one daughter, Arlene Colt; one brother, Albert Colt; and great-grandson, Anthony "Nene" Rodrigues.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Wednesday, October 15th, from 1 to 3 pm and 5 to 7 pm and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Thursday, October 16th at 11 am conducted by Pastor Jack Hannah. Interment will follow at North East Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to www.dusckasfuneralhomes.com.
