Thomas John Young "Tom" "Spike", age 61 of Harborcreek, passed away suddenly at his home and entered his eternal, heavenly home on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. He was born in Erie, on August 5, 1964, and was the youngest child of Harold and Armella Grove Young.
Tom was a devoted and loving son (always striving to make his parents proud), brother, and uncle. He worked for many years as a welder for General Electric. In his retirement years, he enjoyed working in his yard and being in nature; he loved animals! Tom also found great enjoyment in restoring and driving his antique Plymouth Belvedere GTX. He was also a wizard of the old rock 'n roll band era and was masterful in easily identifying the great bands with the great songs they created. Tom also enjoyed memorable Waldameer visits with his dear sister, Tammy. Football season was his favorite time of year as Tom always cheered on his beloved Denver Broncos.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Thomas Arthur, Deborah Alice, and William George. Survivors include his siblings, Connie (Daniel), Walter, Donald, Karen, Randy, and Tammy. He also is survived by an aunt, uncles, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Rest in peace, little brother. "Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure." ~R. Wood
