Beth R. Bolton
Beth R. Bolton, age 58, of Erie, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
She was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, on December 15, 1966, the daughter of Howard P. Hamme and Cathy Froess Hamme.
Beth was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School, Class of 1985, and later studied at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She worked alongside her father, Howard, at Froess Piano & Keyboard, where she was involved in floor sales and piano tuning and repair.
On October 30, 2025, Beth and her husband Martin J. Bolton would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary - a testament to their deep love and companionship.
Beth's two daughters and grandchildren meant the world to her. Beth found immense joy in her dogs over the years, who were always a cherished part of her life. She was a talented classical pianist and enjoyed watercolor painting, gardening, reading, and taking peaceful walks in the park with her husband and dogs. A passionate collector of antiques and vintage treasures, she loved exploring estate sales, auctions, and online finds. Together, she and Martin operated a successful online store through Mercari and eBay for many years.
Beth was preceded in death by her father, Howard P. Hamme; sister, Krista R. Placidi; and grandparents Robert and Mabel Froess, and Wilbur and Lucille Hamme.
She is survived by her loving husband Martin J. Bolton; daughters Alyssa Rovnak and Samantha Lee; and two grandchildren, Jaxon McCarthy and Madison Rovnak.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Beth's Aunts and the Bolton family for their loving support over the past months and years. Beth faced lifelong health challenges with courage and grace - a true warrior and survivor who loved her family and friends deeply.
She loved Jesus and held unwavering faith in His word. Beth is now in His glorious presence, free from pain and suffering, finally at peace.
Please join us in celebrating the beautiful life of Beth R. Bolton - a woman of strength, faith, love, and light.
A memorial service will be held at Saint Marks Episcopal Church. 4701 Old French Rd, Erie, Pa 16509 on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 1:00 pm. Everyone who knew and cared about Beth and I are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. I have know Beth for years, back at strong Vincent, Choir class where she played the piano. Throughout the years we kept in touch, closer to 10 years ago, when she started coming to my estate sales, with her husband. Where she found many treasures, along with her husband. She was a fun customer and friend, Beth is always a person that I liked. For the love of music or even the love of things but we had in common. I am so sorry that her life was ended so soon, but I know she had a full life, and she had love, surrounding her. And I'm sure she will be very missed from friends and family. You were so loved my friend. And now you will be missed but you are, I am sure A better place. Love you my friend. See you again some day.

Oh my dear Beth. I wish you would of told me... I know we were looking forward to getting together and then you just stopped texting. You were such a wonderful, caring, loving person that I am privileged to call my friend. We have known each other since grade school and have been together in heart since. Prayers to your dear family that you loved so dearly. I will miss you so much. Until we meet again. Fly high my angel.
