Norman R. Dins

Norman R. Dins, 98, of New Holstein, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024, with family at his side.
Norman was born December 3, 1925, in Brothertown, WI to the late William and Katherine (Foertsch) Dins.
Norman attended grade school in the area before working on the family farm.
Norman enlisted in the United States Naval Service on February 6, 1943, serv-ing at U.S Naval Training Station, Great Lakes, Illinois.
On April 12, 1945, he married Rosalie (Sally) Dedering at Holy Rosary Catho-lic Church in New Holstein.
Norman was employed at various manufacturing plants in the New Holstein area until his retirement.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein, Holy Name Society, and New Holstein American Legion.
In his earlier years, Norman enjoyed working the land and harvesting the crops on his hobby farm, refinishing furniture, painting and tinkering with any-thing to make it work again.
Surviving Norman are his three children, Gail Dins (Sue Bleichwehl) of Westminster, Colo., Janelle (Tom) Teresinski of DeKalb, Ill. and Ronald (Deb) Dins of New Holstein; five grandchildren, Jeff Teresinski, Julie Teresinski, Ra-chel Schroeder, Renee Schmitz, and Randy Dins; and 11 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Rosalie, his daughter-in-law Mary Patricia "Pat" Dins; brothers Elmer, Alvin, Arnold and Henry Dins; sisters Elsie Pfizenmaier, Burnette Nisler, Adell Heckman and Es-telle Dins; and brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws.
A Liturgy Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, Au-gust 13, 2024, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1724 Madison Street, New Hol-stein, WI 53061, Rev. Alvan Amadi, will officiate.
Visitation: Family and friends may visit with Norman's family on Tuesday, August 13 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein from 3 to 4:45 p.m.
The New Holstein American Legion Post 124 and State Military Honors will conduct full military rites following the service.
Entombment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park Mausoleum in Man-itowoc.
