Fr. Lavergne was born on April 25, 1937 and passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2016. Fr. Lavergne was a resident of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana at the time of his passing. He was married to Rita. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 pm on Saturday March 12 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Friday and continue on Saturday at 7:00 am until 12:30 pm. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Friday.
