Norman P. Neus of Okatie, SC died on January 4, 2026. Mr. Neus was born in the Bronx, NY, grew up in Pearl River, NY and is the son of the late H. Norman Neus and Audrey K. Neus. He was a graduate of SUNY Rockland and Long Island University - Post with degrees (honors), in Economics, Statistics and Political Science. Following graduation, he began a 34 year career with Procter & Gamble, retiring as a Director/Associate Director for the P&G Distributing Company in Cincinnati, OH.
Following retirement, Norm relocated from Cincinnati to South Carolina and was active in his new community and with the Lord of Life Lutheran Church. Norm enjoyed pursing his passion for lecturing and taught a class on Globilization at the University of South Carolina - Bluffton. Unfortunately due to a near fatal car accident in 2011, he wasn’t able to pursue those passions in the rest of his years. Traveling to and from to attend his grandkids soccer and softball games and other events still brought him much joy.
Mr. Neus is survived by his daughter Judy Magee, JD and grandchildren Hannah, Lauren, Brayden and his son Chris Neus, JD and grandchildren Christopher and Elsa. He is also survived by his brother Robert and sister Carol.
In keeping with his wishes, no funeral or memorial services will be held. The family invites you to honor his memory by donating to a charity of your choice or to your local hospice organization in his name.
