After a well-lived and deeply cherished life, Norman C Shoup departed this earth on Thursday, November 27, 2025. Born June 24, 1936, to Clyde and Arlene (Feather) Shoup. Norman was a life-long resident of Economy Boro, PA, and in retirement, Palm Harbor, FL. He attended Ambridge High School and received a cross-country scholarship to Penn State University. While attending Penn State, he joined the Air Force ROTC. Upon graduation, he served in the Air Force and was a Captain upon his discharge.

He married the love of his life, Shirley (Schuring) Shoup, in 1958. He owned and operated Shoup Engineering, Inc, in Economy for many years. He was instrumental in the building of the Economy Superette and the Tri-County Soccer Arena. He loved sharing many stories about the history of Economy Boro.
He was pre-deceased by his parents, his wife and brother, Henry Shoup. He leaves behind his cherished children: Richard, Palm Harbor, FL; Scott (Lori) Shoup, Economy; Sandra (Bill) Nelko, Cranberry Township; 6 grandchildren: Bria (Clayton) Crawford; Nathan (Steph) Shoup; Joshua Shoup; Kyra (Nate) Mathewson; Alexa Nelko; Jacob Shoup; 5 great grandchildren: Gavin and Jemma Crawford; Zosimas, Isaiah and Ephrem Mathewson.

Visitation will be at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry Township, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp, PA 16066, on Monday, December 1, from 2-6 PM. There will also be visitation at Rehoboth Lutheran Church, on Tuesday, December 2, from 10 AM until the time of service with Pastor Susan Irons officiating. The family askes in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rehoboth Lutheran Church, 2800 Conway Wallrose Road, Baden, PA 15005.
