Norman Smith Obituary

Norman was born in Rushville on March 12, 1957, a son of Shirley Mae (Kelley) Smith and the late Floyd (Slim) Smith. He was a graduate of RCHS in 1975 and worked as a CNA at Hillside Haven Health Care and the late Kenneth L. Earnest family. He also worked in his own lawn care business and was a personal driver for the Eicher family in the amish community for several years.
Norman is survived by his Mother, Shirley Smith of Shelbyville; a daughter, Victoria (Skye) Gibson, of Shelbyville; two sons, Rick Self a d Darrel (Taylor) Self both of Glenwood; former wife Atha Smith of Rushville; a sister, Linda (Danny) Cole, of Cornettsville, KY; two brothers, Ancil Smith, and Terry Smith both of Shelbyville; Auny, Bonnie Crain; a nephew, Brayden Floyd Smith and several nieces survive.
Norman will be missed by his grandchildren, Hailey, Zakk, and Natasha Gibson; and Abby, Mia, and Xander Self.
He is preceded by his Father, one sister, three nephews and a brother in law.
A Memorial Gathering will be held Monday, December 9, 2024 at Todd Funeral Centre, and Crematory in Rushville from 4 to 6 PM. Please light a candle and share your memory with the family at www.ToddFuneralHome.com
