Nova Kyburz Obituary

Nova was born in Winfield Township, (Sauk County, Wisconsin) to Max and Ida Sainsbury. She grew up on the family farm in Moundville (Marquette County Wisconsin) Nova graduated from Portage High School in 1955. Nova married the love of her life Kenneth Roger Kyburz September 8th 1956 and they lived in the Milwaukee, Muskego and East Troy area. Nova was very proud of working on the family farm, milking cows and picking chicory. She worked as a lunch lady at the Muskego Norway School. Nova also worked at GTE and Tutor Oaks Senior Living. Ken and Nova were members of Hales Corners Wesleyan Church and St. James United Methodist Church. Nova liked taking pictures and making scrapbooks. She loved gardening, reading, country music, and going to the East Troy Bluegrass Festival. She also enjoyed the 4th of July parade with family and friends, the Red Hat Ladies, going to movies with friends and Polka dancing with her brother Jim or anyone that would dance with her.
Nova is survived by two children Roger (MaryBeth) Kyburz and a daughter Roxanne Kyburz three grandchildren Kenneth(Elizabeth), Jennifer (Adam) and Ryan six great grandchildren Maylee, Ethan, Cohen, Alejandra, Brooklyn and RJ. Brother-in-law Darwin Barron, many nieces, nephews and friends. Nova is preceded in death by her parents, Husband Kenneth (March 2022) Three brothers James (Emma) Sainsbury, Herbert (Carol) Sainsbury, Max Sainsbury. Two sisters Joyce (Lester) Paske, and Reva Barron.Nova loved babies, especially her grandkids. She was a fantastic Mom, loving wife. She will be sadly missed.
Special thanks to Our House Senior Living in Whitewater and Lynn from Agrace Hospice Care. A memorial service will be held September 24th at ST. James United Methodist Church, 2945 Main St, East Troy, WI. Memorial service will be held at 11am with a visitation from 10 am until the time of services. Interment Oakridge Cemetery to follow. Legacy Funeral Services, East Troy has the honor of serving the Family.
