Nyeela G Williams

On September 18, 2025, God sent his angels to North Charleston, South Carolina, to call Nyeela Geneava Williams to eternal rest. She is the mother of Fantasia Williams and the daughter of the late Gamerlear and Eartha Lee Williams.

Nyeela was born in Lincolnville, South Carolina, on March 5, 1969. She attended R.B. Stall High School in North Charleston, South Carolina. She received her G.E.D in 1987.

Nyeela's employment history includes working at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston, SC. She also held several positions in the Food Service Industry and Hotel Hospitality businesses throughout the Lowcountry.

Nyeela never wavered from the religious foundation planted early as a member of Friendship Inspirational Church of God in Christ in Lincolnville, South Carolina. She visited several churches praising and serving God in her own way.

The highlight of Nyeela's life was the birth of Fantasia. She was proud of her accomplishments, and they were inseparable.

Nyeela loved her dogs(Sasha and Bingie), playing BINGO, spending time with friends, and watching football (Green Bay Packers).

She was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Williams; her sisters, Eartha Williams, Audrey Williams, Kathy Williams, and Lisa Anne Williams.

Nyeela leaves to cherish her memories, her beautiful daughter, Fantasia Williams, her five loving sisters: Winnoris Williams, Joan Williams, Gloria Thompson (Percy), Carrie Williams, and Leatrus Hardee. Her brother, Jerry Williams (Jackie). Her nieces: Lashelle Williams, Shaunt'a Williams, Nae Nae Williams, Audra O'megan Williams, Courtney Hardee, Paris Thompson, and Talitha Mack. Her nephews are Jerry (LC) Williams, Willie Williams, and Gamerlear Williams. A host of grand and great grand nieces, nephews, and cousins.
