O’Neal Peter Foret, Jr., 60, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at 9:37 a.m. He was a native Chauvin and resident of Houma, LA.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin on Saturday, July 12, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be held at later date in St. Elie Cemetery in Chauvin.
O’Neal is survived by his wife of 34 years, Leslie Ann Authement Foret; sons, Brad M. Foret and wife, Jennifer, Blake A. Bates and wife, Amber and Brett A. Foret; brothers, Teddy J. (Marie), Corey J. (Christine), Harvey J., and Craig A. (Taylor) Foret; sisters, Janet F. (Audy), Mavis F., Hollie F. (Johnny, Jr.), and Sue F. (Devon); sister-in-law, Keisha Foret; grandchildren, Kaylee and Krislyn Foret, Jax, Parker, Frankie and Rhys Bates; godchildren, Mindy Landry and Alex Foret; his beloved dog, Foxy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
O’Neal was preceded in death by his parents, O’Neal Peter Foret, Sr. and Waidle Ann Smith Foret; and brothers, Fred M. and Tommy P. Foret.
O’Neal was the lead singer of the Southern Boyz Band. Music was always his passion. He was always the life of the party. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. O’Neal will be greatly missed by many.
