Oakley June Reading was born at 28 weeks on October 23rd at 4:23am, weighing 3lbs 5oz and 14.5 inches long.
In the womb Oakley loved to say hi to her mama through her powerful kicks, loved when mama ate sweet treats and popcorn, and loved when daddy said hi to her. She was a fighter. From birth she was resilient and a light to everyone around her.
After 4 sacred, beautiful, fighting days here earth side, Oakley June went to be with Jesus on October 27th at 11:13am. She passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her mommy, holding her daddy’s finger.
Oakley will forever impact the lives of those she met. She was perfect. She will always be an example of our Savior’s love for us. We know that families are forever, miracles do exist, and we will see our baby girl again.
