Odis Wilson Obituary
He was a Baptist deacon, a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. He was the oldest retired member of the Union Pacific Railroad, Arkansas Division 182.
Odis was a wonderful husband and father who loved the Lord.
He is survived by his wife of seventy-one years, Arless Wilson, a son, Ray Wilson and his wife Eva of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, two daughters, Caroline Smith of Springdale, Arkansas, and Deborah Short and her husband John of Little Rock, one brother, Noel F. Wilson and his wife Lois of Conway, and a sister, Elyce McGrew of Houston, Texas, nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A gathering in memory of Odis will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 17, 2002, at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Chapel, 5800 W. 12th, Little Rock, 661-9991, with Reverend Ben Jones and Reverend Barry Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 16, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

I have known the Wilson Family for over 60 years and am proud to say that I have always considered Mr. and Mrs wilson to be two of the most influential Christians I met during my childhood. God bless the family during this time of mourning.
