Odrey Johnson Obituary
She was born on November 26, 1928 in St. Louis, MO to the late Wilford Thomas Hill and Thelma Opal (Huskey) Hill. On May 17, 1945, she married Frank Leland Johnson in St. Louis, MO. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband and a son, Frank Johnson.
Odrey attended the Rolla Church of Christ. She enjoyed quilting and bird watching. Being outdoors gave her great joy, especially if she was gardening.
Odrey will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes: two daughters, Darlene Byington and husband, Steve of Mechanicville, NY and Edna Roberts of Opelika, AL; one brother, Roscoe Hill of Fenton, MO; five grandchildren, Teresa Mann and husband, Greg, Jimmy Roberts and wife, Karrie, Juliet Steiner and husband, Chad, Leslie Campion, and Thomas Johnson and wife, Rachel; six great grandchildren, Brett Steiner, Charlie Steiner, Carter Roberts, Allison Smith and husband, Matt, Mia Wilson and husband, Daniel, and Kennedy Eckley; and two great great grandchildren, Millie Wilson and Alex Smith.
A graveside service for Odrey E. Johnson will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2026 at the Pilot Knob Cemetery, 19315 US-63, Rolla, Missouri.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Pilot Knob Cemetery.
