Ojaran Narace

Ojaran "OJ" Narace, aged 82, of St. Augustine, passed away on December 28, 2025. OJ is survived by his devoted wife of sixty years, Indra Narace. He is remembered as a loving father by his children Shanty, Mike, Mark, and Niala and father-in-law to Amy, Art and the late Kelley. He was cherished as a grandfather by Rajiv, Raina, Lea, Alex, Malane, Ava, Ali, and AJ, and as a grandfather-in-law by Rebecca and Faiyyaz. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Amelia and Jasmir.

Originally from Arima, Trinidad, OJ was the brother of Dolly, Jerry, and Charmaine, and was predeceased by Harry, Sundar, Ram, Bill, and Teerat. He is also remembered by his siblings-in-law Cynthia, Norma, Alita, Amar, Sandra, Donna, Alicia, and the late Sap and Andy.

OJ Narace served with distinction on the Trinidadian police force for over four decades, retiring as Assistant Commissioner in 2003. He will be remembered by his family as a caring father and grandfather, and by all who knew him as a disciplined role model whose legacy endures in the lives he touched.

Funeral service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at St. Johns Family Funeral Home with a visitation to precede from 12-1pm.
