LUBBOCK - OL Plymell Jr., 77, passed away on November 25, 2024.
OL was born on August 27, 1947, in Pattonsburg, Missouri and was the oldest of four siblings. He spent his early career in the oil field. He was later a supervisor at the City of Lubbock for 34 years.
OL was a beloved father, brother, dedicated employee, and bass fishing enthusiast. He loved fishing with his brother, Ricky. He always looked forward to spending the holidays with his kids and grandkids. OL volunteered whenever the opportunity arose for him to contribute to his community, cooking for the holiday gatherings at work and at the fair. OL loved to cook and experiment with recipes.
OL was preceded in death by his parents, OL and Ida Mae Plymell; and by his beloved dog, Boo.
He is survived by children, Eric Plymell and Aimee Neusch; grandchildren, Liam Neusch, Guinevere Plymell, and Arrick Plymell; and siblings, Ricky Plymell, Jerry Plymell, and Debra Plymell. He will be missed by family, friends, and coworkers.
