Also known as "Glory" to her siblings and close family members. Oleeta was one of the most amiable, quiet demeanor and sweetest souls you will ever meet.
A Lifelong, proud member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Winter Garden for over 60 years, she served as President of the Usher Board, and Macedonia Lodge #98B, and Senior Attendant of the Herons of Jerrico.
Oleeta was born in Winter Garden o October 18, 1956. She attended grade school at Charles R. Drew and William S. Maxey Elementary. In 1974, she graduated from of Ocoee High School in Ocoee, Florida and continued her studies at Valencia Community College in Orlando, Florida.
Oleeta married on February 9th, 1980, to Willie H. Christian, Jr., enjoying a steadfast and blessed union of 44 years.
She was Employed at Connextions (and Magnetics) Corporation in Orlando, Florida and retired in 2018 after 32 years of service.
Her Favorite Hobbies included Sewing, Computers, Do-it-Yourself Projects, Tracing Family History via Ancestry.com, T-Shirt Design for Special Events, and Cooking. Glory's homemade dressing from scratch at Thanksgiving and Christmas will be missed. She also loved to travel with her family as often as possible to Melbourne, Tallahassee, Williston, Atlanta, and Chicago.
She loved sports and big fan of professional football and basketball. An avid Florida A&M University fan, Oleeta attended many Homecomings and Orlando Football Classics; and assisted with the Brevard County Alumni - Annual Scholarship Gala for nearly 20 years.
Oleeta transitioned peacefully to her heavenly home on March 29, 2024 in Ocoee, Florida at Health Central Hospital.
Oleeta was preceded in death by her Mother, Dorothy Jean McMillian; Great Grandmother who raised Glory and her siblings, Belle "Granny" Johnson; Stepfather, Bobby Farmer, and Sister, Clara Sue McMillian Davis.
She leaves to Cherish her memory her Loving Husband, Willie H. Christian, Jr. of Winter Garden, Florida; Brother, Glenn Farmer of Winter Garden, Florida; Sister, Lila Farmer of Lilburn, Georgia; Brothers-inLaw: Don Davis of Melbourne, Florida and Michael Christian of Apopka, Florida; Sisters-in-Law: Jacquelyn Daly of Apopka, Florida, Thelma Christian of Georgetown, Georgia and Mary June Clark of McDonough, Georgia; Aunt, Hurie Mae McMillian of Winter Garden, Florida; a host of cherished Nieces and Nephews: Brandi (Gerard) Vaughn of Atlanta, Georgia and Tiffany Mason (Nicklaus) of Atlanta, Georgia, Ebony Cousins (Dave) of Daphne, Alabama, Shukrije Dority (Jarius) of Davenport, Florida, Voncara Henry (Willie) of Davenport, Florida, VaKesia Daly of Apopka, Florida, Regina Clark-Williams (Curtis) of Richland, Georgia, Bobby Farmer of Ocoee, Florida, Ja Kai and Kendrick Dority, both of Davenport, Georgia, James Bufort of Lumpkin, Georgia, Michael A. Christian of Georgetown, Georgia, and Christopher Christian of Atlanta, Georgia; a lifelong special Friend of the family, Ms. Freddie Anderson of Winter Garden, Florida; and many beloved sorrowing cousins, neighbors, extended family, and friends.
