Oleve Cenatus

Oleve Cenatus, 49, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at her home surrounded by family. She was born December 8, 1975 in Haiti to Madelia Colin Cantave and the late Holan Cenatus

Oleve attended Eglise Wesleyenne de la Grace Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was a wonderful wife and mother who treasured the time she spent with her family.

Oleve is survived by her husband, Francisque Pierre; daughter Leila Denis; son, Heladeinsky Denis; sisters, Claudette Cenatus, Lucia Cenatus, Titite Cenatus, Marie-Ange Cenatus and Monique Michel; brothers, Osly Michel and Wilfaude Michel; niece, Claudine Pierre-Louis; and cousin, Sobner Cenatus.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2025 at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626 N. First Ave., Evansville with a Prayer service at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Eglise Wesleyenne de la Grace Church, Grace Haitian Wesleyan Church, 1118 E. Virginia St., Evansville. A Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church with Bishop Jacques Estimphile.

Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
