There was no doubt that she absolutely loved her plants and flowers, giving her extreme life pleasure. She was a Godly mother, rosary and daily prayer, a true compassionate listener to her family, friends, a great advice giver, storyteller with a sense of humor too! A true worrywart. We always said that there was no need for anyone else to worry, she did enough for everyone, no matter if they were family or not. Nothing got by her. While she never asked for it, she never turned down a bit of Tequila.
A devoted mother and grandmother, she raised nine children, as a marriage brought her to " yours, mine and ours", a homemaker, yet she also worked at the Canoa Ranch, the Ruby Star and the T-4, cooked for a bunch of cowboys at roundup time, worked the cucumber, strawberry and garlic fields in Gilroy and Hollister, California alongside of her sons. No one left her home without eating, or enough coffee and little sweets! Tireless from dusk to dawn, with honest strong work ethics, which is what she instilled in her loved ones.
Survived by her children Rudy Cubillas (Tamara), Maria Jesus Gallardo (Francisco Espinoza), Ruben Gallardo (Susan), Alexa Ramirez (Hector), Roy Gallardo (Georgia), Susana Gallardo (David Barefoot), Anita Moreno (Mario), Jesus Angel Rodriguez Jr (Jacqueline), Edidtsa Michel (John), and Elizabeth Rodriguez. She absolutely adored her 21 grandchildren 34 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. The walls of her home were covered with pictures of them. Her special friends and neighbors, Norma Diaz, Mara Palafox and Yolanda Urquidez. A Special Immense Thank You to caregiver Tomasa, and there are not enough words to thank the Soulistic Hospice crew for their assistance and tender care.
Preceded by her parents Jesus Ahumada and Carmelita Ahumada, Her husband Jesus Angel Rodriguez, sons Marco "Vaca" Gallardo and Jose "Joe" Gallardo.
She was the last of seven siblings. She leaves her family with memories, strenght and love, that will continue to inspire everyone that knew her.
"Percinate y Que Dios te Bendiga" Gracias Madre
