Olga Cornejo Torres

Our beloved mother, adopted mother, grandmother, adopted grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend Olga Cornejo Torres passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025, at the age of 76. She was born in Fort Bliss, Texas on July 12, 1948. She was a cherished member of the community in Greeley, CO, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, compassion, and strength.
She is survived by her children Pedro Llamas Jr, Corina Llamas, and Elizabeth "Liza" Silva. Her grandchildren, Marina Llamas, Eduardo Llamas Jr, Elijah Llamas, Isiah Hernandez, Brittany Hernandez, Esi Enriquez, Mikyla Silva, and Sid Silva II. Her great-grandchildren Ezra, Jayden, and Persais Villegas, Joseph, Eliana, Lelah and Dimitri Hernandez, Andres Alvarado-Hernandez, and Geraiya Silva-Garcia. Her siblings Florentino Cornejo, Michael Cornejo, Elizabeth "Liz" Silva, Angie Ramirez, Aurora Rocha, and Olga Lopez.
She is proceeded in death by her son Eduardo Llamas, her siblings Adolf Cornejo II and Caroll Maldonado, her parents Adolf Cornejo, Jesusita Chavez-Rodriguez, Rosie and Jessie Iglecias.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her as she has impacted many lives in the most profound ways. Her story will live on in everyone's hearts as she created an unexplainable imprint on everyone she ever met.
A viewing is scheduled for April 24, 2025, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM, followed by a rosary at 7:00PM at Adamson Life Celebration Home located at 2000 47th Avenue Greeley, CO. A mass celebration will be held on April 25, 2025, at 11:00AM located at St. Mary Catholic Church located at 2222 23rd Avenue Greeley, CO followed by a reception at Adamson Life Celebration Home.
