Olga Trevino Van Ness

Olga Van Ness passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026, surrounded by family. Olga, more commonly known as NuNu, was born on October 1, 1936 here in San Antonio. She was a loving mother to five, a grandmother to eleven, and a great grandmother to nine. Olga had a quiet strength and was a guiding presence to all who knew her. Her life was defined by a steady love, sacrifice, and unwavering support for those she cared for. She also shared her love with everyone she cared for during her many years of nursing. She was always a source of warmth, wisdom, and unconditional love. Olga found joy in the simple things, family gatherings, gardening, decorating her home, and conversation. Olga is preceded in death by the love of her life, Tony Van Ness, whom she will rest with for eternity. Though our hearts are heavy, we taken comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on through the many lives that she touched.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 from 5:00pm-8:00pm, with a Rosary at 6:00pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 9:00am at the funeral home chapel, with interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
