Jacobs, Olive M., 87, Cresson, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, at the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg. Born May 27, 1938, Cresson, daughter of the late Cyril A. and Cecelia L. (Sharp) Illig. Preceded in death by her loving husband, George Jacobs Jr.; son, George Jacobs III; sisters, Eunice Croll, Leona Stevens and Mazie Pramuk; and brothers, William, Mick, Glenn, Raymond, and Richard Illig. Survived by her loving children, Tracy (Tim) Fishel, Cicero, NY, Margie (Joseph) Coho, Duncansville, and Paul Jacobs, Lilly; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Jacobs, Gallitzin; grandchildren, Kayla, Kristin, Steven, Samantha, Joshua (Jordan), Olivia, Melissa, and Amy; great-grandchildren, Nick, Kamden, Kayden, Mia, Lauren, and Josh Jr.; and brother, Eugene Illig. Olive loved reading her devotions, crossword puzzles, swinging on her swing on the porch, and playing Pinochle, a tradition carried on by her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed long car rides with her late husband and their beloved “granddog,” Casper. Olive was the life of the party and was always able to make everyone laugh. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Friends and family will be received Monday, December 22, 2025, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cresson. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 10 a.m., St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Cresson, Rev. Leo Arnone celebrant. Burial at St. Aloysius Cemetery, Cresson.
