Olivia Ann Maggs was a tenderhearted, radiant soul-a devoted wife, loving and gentle mother, passionate nurse, and deeply cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Olivia passed away on May 26, 2025, at 32 years old. Her absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Born in Marianna, Florida, on November 13, 1992, Olivia was the beloved daughter of John Underhill Wright and Brenda Matthews Wright, and the youngest sibling to two older brothers, Christopher John Wright and Aaron Westley Wright. Even as a child, Olivia's curiosity, intelligence, and unwavering love for Jesus shone brightly. She was baptized at a young age, a moment that marked the beginning of her enduring, steadfast walk with the Lord. Olivia attended Mims Elementary School. In 1998, when Olivia was five, her family faced unimaginable heartbreak when her eldest brother, Christopher, passed away from leukemia at just 11 years old. Through this tragedy, the Wrights leaned into their faith, drawing strength from their unshakable foundation in Christ. The family later relocated to Titusville, Florida, where her father planted Crosswalk Community Church. Growing up as a pastor's daughter, Olivia made her parents proud. She was both kind- hearted and tough, always holding her own as the little sister of two spirited boys. She embraced Aaron's antics with grace, and her underrated wit and humor made her deeply loved by all who knew her. She went on to attend Madison Middle School and graduated from Astronaut High School in 2011. Olivia was an honor-roll student and an integral part of her community, church, and school. Throughout her childhood, she was involved in dance, volleyball, and the National Honors Society, and always gave her all with determination and humility. It was in high school, in 2009, that Olivia met the love of her life, Cody Austin Maggs. From the beginning, their connection was clearly rare and lasting-a love story rooted in faith, friendship, and loyalty. After graduating, both Olivia and Cody attended Word of Life Bible Institute in Hudson, Florida. Olivia completed her studies there in 2013 before going on to earn her degree in Nursing from the University of Central Florida. Nursing was more than a career-it was a calling that reflected Olivia's love for others. Her compassion and servant's heart guided everything she did. From babysitting children in the community growing up, to leading as the Childcare Director at Crosswalk during high school, Olivia's life was marked by a devotion to serving others. Her faith, empathy, and deep love for people made her a natural born nurse. In 2014, Olivia and Cody were married in a joyful ceremony officiated by her father. Together, they began building a Christ-centered life filled with love and purpose. Olivia started her nursing career at Parrish Medical Center in Titusville, first in the MedSurg Department and then in the Women's Center-her dream unit-where her warmth and love for babies radiated through her care. She touched the lives of patients, colleagues, and everyone around her with her kindness, nurturing spirit, and steadiness. Of all her roles, Olivia most cherished being a mother. She and Cody were blessed with three precious children: Jude Christopher (age 5), Noah Carter (age 3), and Ella Grace (8 months). Olivia was the perfect boy mom to Jude and Noah, and then she welcomed her own little girl that was a mirror image of herself. She parented with unmatched grace, patience, and selflessness-nurturing her children with both strength and tenderness. Her love for Jesus was reflected in her parenting, her marriage, and every aspect of her life. Olivia had a gift for making others feel welcomed and celebrated. She loved opening her home to host family gatherings, holidays, and "just because" celebrations-always with a joyful heart and calm spirit. Her presence brought comfort and light. Every detail was always thoughtfully planned, and her home radiated warmth, even amid chaos. She had a genuine ease about her that made everyone feel like they belonged around her. On May 26, Olivia and her three young children were involved in a tragic car accident on I-95 when a Ford F-350 pickup truck suffered a tire blowout and struck their van. In an instant, Olivia was taken far too soon. By the grace of God, compassionate strangers stopped to help, pulling the children from the vehicle. Miraculously, Jude, Noah, and baby Ella survived and will carry their mother's love with them always. Her legacy lives on in their hearts and in the lives she touched. Please continue to lift up Cody, Jude, Noah, Ella, and the entire Maggs and Wright families in your prayers as they navigate this unthinkable loss and hold onto the promise of eternal life and reunion in Christ. Olivia was preceded in death by her brother Christopher Wright; maternal grandparents Garry and Barbara Matthews. She is survived by her husband, Cody Maggs, and their three children: Jude, Noah, and Ella; her parents, John and Brenda Wright; her brother and sister-in-law, Aaron and Gabrielle Wright, and nieces Isabella and Luciana Wright; her grandparents, Richard and Stephanie Wright; her mother and father in law Rachel and Paul Wolford; her sister-in-law Heather Brown (Maggs), and her children Cali Ann, Luke, Reid, Asher; her sister in law Kate Maggs; her brother in law Dylan & Bethany Wolford; her sister in law Danielle Wolford; her father-in-law, Tom and Kathy Maggs and their son Joey Lally. A celebration of Olivia's life will be held Saturday, May 31 at 1:00 p.m. at Park Avenue Baptist Church in Titusville, Florida, with a reception to follow. Guests are encouraged to wear colorful attire to honor the light and joy Olivia brought into the world.
