Olivia Louise Samples, age 14, of Piedmont, SC, passed away, Thursday, January 30, 2025, at her home.
She was born on November 1, 2010 in Springfield, MA., and was the daughter of Marcus Anthony Samples and stepmother, Katelyn Hunter of Piedmont and Jessica Louise Samples and stepfather, Eric Gogliotti. Olivia was in the 8th grade at Woodmont Middle School and had dreams of joining the military and pursuing a career in Law Enforcement. She had a vibrant spirit, a profound love for all animals, and enjoyed spending her time watching anime, archery and going on adventures in her Papa's 5th wheel.
In addition to her parents, Olivia is survived by her paternal grandparents, Bobby A. Samples (Mary) of Clinton and Patricia Anne Yon; her maternal grandparents, Kevin and Cynthia Farmer of Massachusetts; her paternal great-grandparents, Bobby and Lois Samples of Clinton; her maternal great-grandmother, Hazel Ellen Bellows of Massachusetts, her sisters, Nora Grace Samples, Rebecca Ann Gogliotti, and Paula Jane Gogliotti; her aunt, Jennifer Farmer; her great-aunt, Amanda Samples Ramirez (Danilo); her uncles, Joseph Samples and Christian Hancock; her great-uncles, Eddie Yon (Kellie) and Robbie Yon.
Olivia is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Robert E. Yon, Patricia Darlington, William Bellows and her baby sister, Ellison Anne Samples.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Clinton First Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Heaton officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 – 3:00 PM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lydia Pentecostal Holiness Church, 661 Poplar Street, Clinton, SC 29325.
