Olivia Thames Obituary
On Tuesday, October 31, 2023, Olivia Nesmith Thames, "Libby", widow of the late Hugh Thomas Thames, Jr., passed away peacefully at her residence.
Born on Tuesday, August 13, 1946, in Morrisville SC, she was a daughter of the late Authur Mitchell and the late Lueallar Nesmith Mitchell.
Services celebrating her life will take place on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at 2:00 pm from the Mt. Zero Missionary Baptist Church, 7827 Paxville Highway, Manning, where the Rev. Dr. Lucious Dixon, president of the South Carolina Baptist Congress of Christian Education, will preside. The Rev. Jeffery B. Jackson, Sr., pastor, will bring words of consolation. The service of committal will follow in the family plot located at the Mt. Zero Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Services will be livestreamed on our Facebook page at Fleming & DeLaine Funeral Home and Chapel.
Public viewing will take place on Saturday, November 4, 2023, during the hours of 4:00pm - 6:00pm from the Fleming & DeLaine Chapel, 222 West Boyce St.
The family is receiving relatives and friends during the hours of 3:00pm - 7:00pm at the residence, 410 Drayton St., Manning. In accordance with the CDC guidelines, masks are required.
