Ollie Bland Obituary

Ollie graduated from Lake Taylor High School. He lived in Norfolk, Virginia until 1997 when he made Eastbrook his forever home. He was a scout master in his early years.
Ollie loved being in nature. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and long motorcycle rides. He was a skilled carpenter and made beautiful, hand carved artwork. Ollie loved his coffee, peanut butter crackers, and his cat. He was easy to be around; never met a stranger. He loved Jesus and his family.
Ollie is survived by his daughter, Allison Grob and his granddaughter, Claire Grob of Virginia Beach, VA; his son, Evan Bland of Eastbrook; his sister, Betty Jean Spruill of Chesapeake, VA; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Lucky, and his sisters, Marie and Maxine. Condolences may be expressed at www.acadiacremation.com
