In memory of a great man,
father, husband, teacher, and friend.
With immense love and profound gratitude for his life and legacy, we bid farewell to an exceptional man: a faithful husband, father of six children, grandfather of ten grandchildren, great-grandfather of three young children, and loving guide to many more whom he adopted as children of his heart.
A teacher, designer, and wood artist, passionate about his profession, he transmitted to all those around him his love of art, beauty, and perfect workmanship.
In every project, business, or hobby, he poured his soul and all his passion into achieving it. His hands transformed materials into unique pieces, and his heart transformed everyday moments into unforgettable memories. A great storyteller who entertained everyone, especially his beloved grandchildren.
Passionate about good music, roosters, plants, but especially good food, his favorite menu item being fish; He knew how to savor life bite by bite. He married his beautiful, cheerful, and smiling chef, his life companion for 61 years. Together they celebrated every flavor and every day. He liked everything "big," bought generously, loved intensely, and lived amplely. He was a natural mathematician, with a brilliant, precise mind and a strong heart.
He was a warrior to the end, a true field marshal, facing life and death with courage, dignity, and faith. He prayed to God and sang to the Virgin Mary with devotion and made his home a place of unity, encounters, and laughter.
He leaves us an unforgettable legacy of love, strength, good taste, and joy. His life was a work of art. And like all great works, his mark remains unfading on those of us who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
