Omar Williams Jr., age 88, of Forrest City, died Thursday, August 7, 2025, at his home in Forrest City. He had been in poor health for the past three years. Mr. Williams was born April 19, 1937, in Palestine, the big woods, and was the son of Omar Albert Williams Sr. and Lula Bell Lee Williams. He lived in St. Francis County most all of his life, was a heavy equipment operator for St. Francis County Road Department, and attended First Baptist Church of Caldwell. Mr. Williams married Marjorie Ann Gowen in 1956, and she preceded him in death in 1976. He married Molly O'Neal Crisp in 1977, and she preceded him in death in 2022. He is survived by one daughter, Debbie Sue Williams of Caldwell, two sons; Donald Dean Williams of Marionville, Missouri, and Dale Lynn Williams of Palestine, one brother, Jerry Williams of Farmington, Arkansas, two sisters; Lela Bell Harper of Rudy, Arkansas, and Dorothy Jean Walker of Dexter, Missouri, three grandchildren; Brandon Williams, Brett Williams, and Jodi Dale Renigar, and six great-grandchildren; Landon Williams, Brynlie Mae Douglas, Lorelei Rae Renigar, Fallon Renigar, Finley Renigar, and Whitt Renigar. Services will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 11:00 A.M., Monday, with burial in Bell Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 10:00 A.M., until the time of the service. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. You may log on to stevensfuneralhome.net for the online registry.
