Onezime “Tut” Joseph Hebert entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Rosalind Richard Hebert. Son of the late Roosevelt Hebert and Rosie Scanio Hebert. Loving and devoted father of Barry Hebert, Brad Hebert (Trisha) and the late Brian Hebert. Loving grandfather of Brandi, Brett, Ginny and Abbey; great grandfather of Caleb, Wyatt, Pria, Noah, Wrex, Vaida and Walker. Beloved brother of Rosanne Champagne (Ray) and the late Marie Schouest (Survived by Ronnie). Uncle of Ray Champagne, Jr., Ronnie Schouest, Jr. and Rod Schouest. Tut was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a lifelong resident of Marrero, Louisiana. He worked as a Pharmaceutical Purchaser for Triangle Drugs and Fasullo Drugs. He loved to spend time with his family, grandchildren and his great grandchildren but he also loved spending his time outdoors fishing, hunting and trawling. Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 4401 7th Street, Marrero, Louisiana on Thursday, October 2, 2025 beginning at 9AM until 11AM. A Memorial Mass will be held at the church on Thursday at 11AM. Interment will be in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery, Avenue A and 5th Streets, Westwego, Louisiana.
