Opal Credell Obituary

Opal spent the majority of her career in the medical field as a typist. Though she loved her job at Dr. Monk's office, family was what ultimately mattered most to Opal. She cherished the quality time she spent with the people she loved, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a proud grandmother, and a wonderful mother, sister, and friend. In her free time, Opal loved following OU sports and spending time in her garden tending to her flowers. She touched so many hearts during her time on this earth, and Opal will be very deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Charles Credell, her son, David Credell, sister Wilma, and mother Sonorrah.
Left to treasure her memory are her son, Steve Credell; two grandchildren, Ben Credell and his wife Destiny, and Erin Houck and her husband Dustin; three great-grandchildren, Jaycee Credell, Charlotte Credell, and Denver Houck. Opal is also survived by her two sisters, Jane, and Ruby, along with many more loved ones and friends.

Ann was a very special person that never met a stranger. A good friend that I met in 5th grade at West Oak Elementary We kept in touch for 65 years. Ann was always ready to plan a trip somewhere or go to an OU Basketball game. She was front and center to volunteer and attend the Class of 1967 reunions and activities through the years. She was proud of her family and a dedicated mom and MIMI. She is at peace now and will be missed by all.
