Opal was born on August 5, 1934 to the late Georgia June Huffman and Clair Philpott.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Dan Dickerson and Galen Crist; brother, Kenton Philpott; sister, Patricia Darnell; step father, Aubery Huffman and step mother, Louise Philpott.
Those left to cherish her memory are a son, Kenton Dickerson and Beverly of Hico; daughter, Debbie Campbell of Hope Mills, NC, Pam Wiggins and Jack of Orlando, FL, Tammy Dickerson and Trina Fraiser of Lawton, OK, Kimmy Roberts and Ted of Bradenton, FL; sister, Shirley Keenan and Hank of Hugheston, WV; brothers, Donald Philpott and Linda of Radcliff, KY, Gary Philpott and Glenna of Robson, WV, Danny Philpott and wife Linda of Port Orange, FL; 9 grandchildren 17 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews as well as extended family members.
There will be a viewing for family and friends from 1:00 until 2:00 on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at the Chapel of Rest Mausoleum, Restlawn Memory Gardens, Victor. Per her wishes, there will be no service following the visitation.
In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place no one can fill. Enjoy your reunion in heaven; we will see you again.
