Opal was a long-time resident of Pineville, Kentucky. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Pineville.
Left to cherish her memory, her son Eric (Sheila) Wheatley of Providence, Kentucky and three grandsons, Hunter, Peyton, and Grayson Wheatley. Opal also has host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who are left to mourn her passing.
Graveside Services for Opal King will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2026 at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens Gazebo Chapel with Rev. Jerry Combs and Graham Mew presiding.
Green Hills Funeral Home, Middlesboro, is honored to serve the King family.
