Ora Faye Redd

Services for Ora Faye Luther Redd, 90, of Alba, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Monday, December 1, 2025, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Bro. David Allen officiating.

Interment will follow in Lake Fork Memorial Cemetery, Alba.

Mrs. Redd passed away on November 25, 2025, at her home. She was born on September 13, 1935, in Terrell, Texas, to Seth Anderson and Nola Laura Sanders Luther. On March 13, 1959, she married the love of her life, Troy E. Redd, in Dallas. They shared 64 wonderful years of marriage before his passing. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Faye moved from Mesquite to the Wood County area 25 years ago. She enjoyed sewing and needlework, and she loved spending time outdoors working alongside her husband. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she cherished her family deeply. Faye was a faithful member of Lake Fork Baptist Church. She was a Godly mother who taught her children many valuable lessons throughout her life.

Survivors include her son, Troy Redd, Jr. and wife Sherry of Alba; daughter, Sandy Bland and husband Troy of Orangefield; sister, Mattie Wand and husband Bob of Pleasant Grove; five grandchildren, Andrea, Alicia, Travis, Jason, and Cody; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Travis Redd, Cody Redd, Jason Bland, Jimie Barker, Randy Webster, and Elliott Bland.

The family will receive friends Monday, 10 a.m., before the service at the funeral home
