Oren Kats Obituary
With sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Oren Miles Kats, who passed on the morning of May 6th, 2025 during labor.
He is survived by his parents Guy Kats and Amanda Craver, sister Nina, grandfather Daniel, and uncles Omer, Alon, Iddo, and Evan. He was welcomed to the realm beyond by his grandmother Orna, uncle Jordan, and midwife Kelly.
His short time on earth was spent basking in warmth and comfort, surrounded by immense love. He was never soiled by the earthly. We will forever cherish his life and be grateful for the love and blessings he brought to us.
A burial ceremony will be held on Monday, May 12th, at St. Paul cemetery, on Fletcher Farm Rd. in Bloomingdale, NY, at 5pm. This will begin a “Shiv‘a”, seven days of mourning per the Jewish tradition. During the week, ending on Sunday, May 18th, the community is welcome to visit the mourning family in their home, every day between 4pm and 7pm. The family welcomes visitors of all sorts- friends, acquaintances, neighbors, individuals or groups, families with babies or children- a loving and positive atmosphere will be shared and bring comfort to the bereaved. Come as you are.
