Orie Woodsey Nephi, age 45, of Ft. Duchesne, passed away at her daughter’s home in Roosevelt on October 26, 2025.
She was born January 3, 1980, in Roosevelt, to Whitney and Mildred Kay Burson Nephi.
Orie enjoyed cooking, beading, lifting weights, dancing, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, drawing, Zumba and sports. She loved to shop, especially for purses, jewelry, and high heels. Her favorite sports teams were the Chiefs and Dallas Stars. Her family was her everything, and she delighted in spending time with each of them. She was a member of The Native American Church and was a huge part of the program, Addicts to Athletes.
She is survived by her children, Leapha Myore (Jose Jimenez), Winterhawk Myore, Whitllen Myore (Andin Oldman), Omeira Serawop, Moses Serawop; her grandchildren, Makonnally and Nuylynn Myore; and a brother, Stacy Nephi.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Shooting Star Cornpeach; sister, Ondie Wopsock; and nephew, Sheldon Nephi.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Ft. Duchesne Community Building. A wake will be held after 3:00 PM on Wednesday at the same location.
Burial will be in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery.
