Oskie Lee "Moon Man" Frazier

Oskie Lee Frazier, Sr., affectionately known as "Moon Man," passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025, at the Shore Health & Rehabilitation Center in Parksley, Virginia. Born on August 20, 1948, in Mississippi, Oskie was a man of resilience, strength, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones and his profession.
Oskie's early life in Mississippi laid a strong foundation for his future. He was educated in the public schools of his home state, where he developed a robust work ethic that would define his career. Oskie's journey as a truck driver for over 50 years began with J. B. Hunt Trucking Company, where he quickly established himself as a reliable and skilled driver. His passion for the open road led him to become the proud owner and operator of O. F. Trucking, a business that thrived under his leadership.
On August 19, 1977, Oskie married the love of his life, Faye E. Holden Frazier. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. Although he was preceded in death by his mother, Annie B. Cross Frazier, and his beloved daughter, Natasha Kirkpatrick, Oskie's legacy of love and perseverance lives on through his devoted wife, Faye, and the many lives he touched.
Oskie's interests extended beyond the highways and into his own backyard. He found solace in yard work, taking pride in creating a tranquil space where he could relax and reflect. His home was his sanctuary, and he cherished the simple pleasures of tending to his garden and enjoying the fruits of his labor.
Oskie leaves to cherish his memories his wife of forty-seven years, Faye E. Frazier; son, Oskie L. Frazier, Jr.; grandchildren, Trevon Kirkpatrick, Damien (Alex) Kirkpatrick, Te'Shaun Harmanson, Jyasia Frazier, and Destiny Frazier; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Palmer, Jr., Jayden Palmer, Jaizaiyah Palmer, and Kylo Guillaume; sisters, "Baby Girl" and "Mickey;" brother, Percy; sisters-in-law, Annie Tull and Effie Mitchell; brothers-in-law, Lester Holden, Sr. and Randall Holden; special nephew, Gavin Harmon; bonus daughter, Brandy Frazier; and a host of other relatives and friends.
