Otis J. Randle, age 66, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home on
November 2, 2025. Born in Kansas City on December 29, 1958, Otis was the beloved
son of Helen Randle and Otis Barton. He was a proud graduate of Manual High School,
where he began cultivating the work ethic that would define his life.
On February 14, 2004, Otis married the love of his life, Wanda Faye Phillips. Their union
was a testament to devotion and joy until her passing, which he bore with quiet strength
and enduring love.
Otis dedicated many years of service to the Center School District, where he was
known for his reliability, kindness, and commitment to the students and staff he
supported. Outside of work, he found joy in music and had a passion for working on
cars-a hobby that reflected both his creativity and mechanical skill. He was also
admired for his impeccable sense of style, always dressed with flair and confidence that
made him unforgettable.
Otis is survived by his brother Tony Randle and sisters Lucinda Martin, Joyce Randle,
and Lois Randle. As well as his bonus brother and best friend, Fredrick Phillips (Lawana
Phillips). He leaves behind a legacy of love through his children: Tyesha Randle,
Natasha Clemons (Fred Clemons), Willie Jones (Talisha Jones), Kristian Jones, Wanda
Jones, Carrie Beasley, Tamika Nolen (Wesley Nolen), John Oliver, and Cherise Phillips.
He was a cherished grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, each of
whom brought him pride and joy, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Otis will be remembered for his sense of humor, his love for blues music, and his love
for cars. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
The family invites friends and loved ones to share memories and honor his legacy.
